Start with the system you need, then compare the equipment. A familiar brand is useful, but model compatibility, installation requirements and warranty terms matter just as much.
Compare the proposed panel layout
Two quotes with the same total solar capacity can use different panel models, roof areas and inverter arrangements. Ask to see the layout and the assumptions behind the generation estimate.
We support Jinko and Canadian Solar panels. The model selected should suit the usable roof area, shading, electrical design and availability.
Check the complete battery system
A battery’s usable energy capacity is only one part of the specification. The inverter’s power output, supply phase and backup configuration also affect what the system can do.
Our supported battery platforms are GoodWe ESA, Sigenergy and Sungrow. We pair them with compatible inverter equipment from the same brand, then verify the exact models together.
- Usable capacity and charge/discharge limits
- Required switching or gateway equipment for backup
- Supported monitoring and control features
- Conditions for later battery expansion
Read the warranties separately
A panel performance warranty describes output under defined conditions. A product warranty covers specified defects. Neither should be assumed to cover every installation or labour cost.
Ask who handles a claim, what records you should keep and which costs or exclusions apply. The quoted model’s documentation is the reference point.
Make the quote comparable
Compare the whole scope: equipment, installation, switchboard work, monitoring, backup circuits and support. An attractive headline specification cannot replace a design that fits your property.
